How many members do you have, and what year were you established?
The chapter has 120 members (6% of SPASH student population) and was established in 1939.
How does your FFA chapter impact the community?
Members help clean up an assigned highway, local day of service, and ring bells for the Salvation Army. They also educate youth in elementary schools about agriculture by hosting Food for America, the Science Extravaganza, and peer teaching.
What are some accomplishments?
The chapter has been recognized on the national level for the Three-Star National Chapter Award. They have also been state quiz bowl winners nine times in the past 15 years and have been junior high state opening and closing ceremonies winners for the past three years and high school winners for the last two years.
